Questions about TreStack Checkout, answered.

Not yet. TreStack Checkout runs in production and is coming to the Shopify App Store, but it is not listed there yet, so it cannot be installed. These answers describe the app as it runs today.

It adds blocks to Shopify's checkout, thank you, and order status pages: banners, trust badges, payment icons, custom fields, checkboxes, gift options, a free shipping progress bar, contact info, social links, upsells, and surveys. There are 24 blocks, each with five or ten profiles.

It also hides, renames, or reorders payment and shipping methods, stops checkout when an order breaks your rules, offers a product on the post-purchase page, adds gifts to the cart, builds cart links, and styles your checkout with your brand.

No. Blocks are Shopify checkout extensions you place in Shopify's checkout editor, and rules run as Shopify Functions. Nothing is added to your theme.

Only for the checkout page itself. Checkout page blocks, gifts, upsells in checkout, and checkout branding need the Growth or Pro plan on a store on Shopify Plus, because Shopify allows apps on the checkout page only for Plus stores.

Thank you and order status page blocks, the post-purchase page, payment and shipping rules, order validation, and cart links work on any Shopify plan with Starter. On a store not on Shopify Plus, Starter also includes upsells and surveys on the thank you and order status pages.

Starter is $14 a month, Growth $37, and Pro $74, in US dollars. Yearly billing is 25 percent off and bills once a year. Every plan starts with a 14 day free trial, and development stores use the app for free.

No. Subscribing again or reinstalling gives you only what is left of the first trial.

Through Shopify, on the Shopify bill you already get. We never see your payment details. Change plan, switch between monthly and yearly, or apply a discount code on the Plans page in the app.

No. Once a block is placed and its profile picked in the checkout editor, changes you save in the app reach your checkout by themselves.

Yes. Place the block twice in the checkout editor and pick a different profile for each.

Yes. Display conditions include the cart's products or collections, the shipping country, the checkout language, the payment type, whether the buyer is B2B or signed in, and the device. Customer tags work only for signed-in buyers, since guest checkouts have no tags.

On Home, under Overview, App blocks placed counts the blocks placed on your checkout, thank you, and order status pages. Select it to see the list.

Answers from input blocks such as Custom Checkbox are saved on the order, one metafield per block type, when the block saves to Order metafields. Survey answers are in Survey results and on the order. Both need the app's optional permission to edit orders.

Yes, one item at a time: Export profile on a block's profile, and Export for upsells selected on the Upsells page. In the other store, import them, then check products, collections, and translations.

No. Products already in the cart are never offered.

Shopify only lets an app add a product to the cart by itself when it is free. A product that is not free is shown to the buyer with an add button.

When the order is paid entirely with a gift card, when the buyer pays with an express wallet, or when the order total is zero. Shopify also shows only one app there, so TreStack Checkout has to be selected under Settings, Checkout, Post-purchase page.

Yes. Export CSV on Survey results downloads the answers to one survey for a period: order number, order date, email, submission time, and one column per question.

Judge.me and Okendo. They save each product's rating in Shopify's standard product rating fields, and TreStack Checkout reads it from there, so there is no account to connect. Ratings need the Pro plan on Shopify Plus.

Two things. Survey answers, with the order they belong to; buyers' email addresses are kept only if you turn on Keep buyers' email addresses with survey answers in Settings. And upsell events from the web pixel, only from buyers who allow analytics in your cookie banner, with no name, email, phone number, address, or payment information.

Payment, shipping, and validation rules may use a buyer's details to decide whether they apply, inside Shopify, and the app does not store them.

In your own Shopify order data, as the order note, order attributes, or order fields. The app's servers do not keep them.

If they answered a survey, Home shows A customer asked for their data with the order numbers. Export the answers with Export CSV and send them to the customer within 30 days.

They are kept. The app stops running on your checkout until you choose a plan again, and then everything comes back.

Blocks, rules, and offers stop at once. Your data is deleted 48 hours later, when Shopify asks us to. If you reinstall before then, your settings are still in the app.
